[Rap Megacity]Adversaree - Super Emcee

Adversaree & Phat Tony bring to you Tongues Uv Machetes 2: Enter Simon Barz Sinister the EP. Once, again, Adversaree is back on the series of the TUM, but this time he brought beat smith/producer Phat Tony (CampX, F.A.T. Thursday) as the EP's chief/only producer. The theme, this time around, is gathered around Simon Bar Sinister of the Underdog cartoon series from the 1960s. TUM2 promises dagger-style bars and villainous verses that lay over the street-thumping, hip-hop boom-bap of Phat Tony's production. The Simon persona was taken by Adversaree as the villain in TUM2, this time around. Sit back and enjoy an EP that is for the heads, as well as the lyrical listeners. Once, again, we cannot THANK YOU enough for your proven and constant support of what we're doing, as hiphop citizens. The appreciation is limitless!! Look out for more from Adversaree!!! Bless.

[Rap Megacity/Free Chunes]Grimace Love - Autumn Day

Produced by T Dot super producer, Rich Kidd, “Autumn Day” is Grimace Love’s ode to the Fall.  As the seasons, leaves and weather change, Autumn Day is definitely a relatable song and concept for all listeners. Lots of bright, vibrant colours and beautiful fall visuals accompany this melodic monsterpiece [sic]  in the Autumn Day music video directed and edited by Big Sproxx.

[New Music Megacity] O. - The Introduction (Yesterday's Tomorrow EP)

First introduction to ‘O ‘ (not to be confused with this ‘Oh’) – a dude that under his aka T.R.A.C.K.S. has been a crucial part of two highly respected groups – IRS & Big Black Lincoln (BBL) – that gave us two of the city’s most critically acclaimed albums: “Welcome to Planet IRS” & “Heaven’s Caught On Fire” respectively.

“T.R.A.C.K.S. Lament”  gave us our first taste of the kid as a singer; “Clementine”  – his duet with Andreena Mill – became one of many classic cuts off the BBL project; and his production/vocals on “Things Change”  made it a stand out single in Mayhem Morearty’s catalouge. Last time we heard him was about a year ago when he relinked with IRS to drop vocals on “Rock For You”  featuring Promise; and produce “No Regrets”  featuring Frankie Payne, Kardi and Kim Davis; all off TRF’s solid “The New North” album.

“Yesterday’s Tomorrow” is a collection of cuts he put together a couple years back but is officially releasing now. So in that sense, it’s a taste of where he’s been musically and kinda serves as a precursor for what to expect moving forward from this super humble and talented Toronto artist.

Definitely looking forward to hearing more!
